What we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate Velani and improve the experience. Depending on how you use Velani, this may include:
1. Email address
If you choose to subscribe to Velani letters, onboarding emails, product updates, or related communications. Providing your email is always optional. You can use parts of Velani without subscribing.
2. Purchase and order information (future products)
If you purchase a digital or physical product in the future, we may collect information needed to process your order, such as name, email address, shipping address, billing details, and order history. Payment information is processed securely through third-party payment providers and is not stored directly by Velani.
3. Anonymous website usage data
We may collect anonymous, aggregated information such as page views, general site activity, button clicks, and traffic sources. This helps us understand what is useful and improve the experience. This information is not personally identifiable and is never tied to your identity.
4. Messages you send us
If you contact us by email or support form, we may keep that communication to respond and improve customer support.

Third-party services

Email provider
We currently use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) for email communication. If you subscribe, your email address may be securely stored on Kit's servers in the United States. You can review their privacy policy at kit.com/privacy.
Analytics and tracking
We use privacy-conscious analytics to improve Velani. We do not sell advertising or use invasive cross-site tracking. We currently do not use Facebook Pixel or ad-targeting networks. Analytics tools may change over time as Velani evolves, but we aim to prioritize privacy-first approaches whenever possible.
Data storage and security
Velani uses reputable infrastructure and service providers to store and secure information. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time.
Children's privacy
Some products in the Velani ecosystem, including youth-focused experiences such as Glow Up Club, may be designed for children, teens, or families. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parent or guardian involvement or consent where required by law, including under COPPA (US) and similar privacy protections.
Where youth-focused products exist, subscriptions, purchases, and communications for children under 13 are intended to be managed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us at hello@velani.app. We will review and remove information where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we will update the date at the top of this page and may notify subscribers when appropriate. By continuing to use Velani after updates are posted, you agree to the revised policy.
